Young Volunteer of the Year 2017

This award is made to the young person who has given up their free time to volunteer in sport. Sport in Britain depends on volunteers and these young people will be the backbone of sporting opportunities in the future. This award is proudly sponsored by Flexi Digital.

Highly Commended: Nathan Noblet

Nathan joined the Sir Tom Finney Preston Soccer Centre 3 years ago on the young coaches’ scheme and has rarely missed a day since. When Nathan first started he was shy and reserved and now he has grown into a very professional and confident communicator. He is seen as a role model by other young coaches, volunteers and trustees.

Lois has worked with the West Pennie Netball Club as an assistant coach however she has now moved on to be a coach for the U11 netball participants. Lois has to try and balance her training and playing time with her heavy college work and the necessary study. Lois is known for her enthusiasm, motivation and fantastic sense of humour.
