Young Achiever of the Year 2017

This award is for some of the most talented performers across the County, who show exceptional dedication to their sport and have the potential to perform at the highest level. Nominations are encouraged from those who have represented their County/Region/Country in their chosen sport. This award is proudly sponsored by Burnley College.

Highly Commended: Grace Harrison 

Grace started skiing 3 years ago and has developed a passion for both alpine and freestyle disciplines. Only a year after first learning Grace became the British and European indoor moguls champion for U14.  Grace takes part in activities to build on her skills 6 days a week and is very dedicated to attending.

Winner: Pia Murray

Pia is a member of the Leyland Barracudas ASC and has risen from a group swimmer to a national champion and is seen for potential to be a future Olympian. Pia applied for a sports scholarship at Ellesmere College in Shropshire, she was successful with this and now studies and trains there however her passion for the Barracudas still remains.
