Service to Disability Sport 2017

This award is given to an individual, administrator, coach or official who has made a highly significant voluntary contribution to disability sport. This award is proudly sponsored by Preston North End Community  and Education Trust.

Winner: Mike Mason

Mike runs the club Chorley Wildcats, he has given the children with disabilities the opportunity to take part in regular sport, to keep fit and be active.  He welcomes many children with a variety of disabilities from the local community and makes them feel like part of the team where they are safe and secure.

Winner: Faisal Member

Faisal is a member of the The Sir Tom Finney Soccer Centre and FC and he has a level 1 and mode 2 coach; he provides football  club for the Adult disabled players whilst working a full time job and a family. He has people coming from all over Lancashire to attend the sessions he is putting on. The club has 65 registered players all of whom attend when they can however this is still growing.
