 Sport and Physical activity is a large part of the experience at Ansdell School and celebrate all the individual and team achievements. Ensuring that sporting activities are recognised and celebrated gives all children the opportunity to shine at something, including those who may not be achieving at the expected level in academic subjects.

Casterton work hard to provide a positive atmosphere for the children. In school and after school clubs are well attended, with over 93% of student attended an ex-curricular sports club.  1k a day running clubs, playground activities led and managed by the children, Infant Buddies and Infant Sports leaders and ‘stay and play’ sessions have all had a positive effect on activity levels, behaviour, alertness, self-confidence, resilience and attitude to sport and physical activity.
